Wolfblanc Architects is expanding our presence in Athens and seeking a talented residential architect to join our Greek studio. We design contemporary homes and thoughtful renovations that respect Athens’ architectural heritage while meeting modern living standards.
Our approach combines Scandinavian design discipline with Mediterranean sensibility, creating spaces that are functional, light-filled, and deeply connected to their context.
About the role
You’ll work on residential projects throughout Athens, from apartment renovations in historic neighborhoods to new residential developments. Our portfolio includes interventions in neoclassical buildings, polykatoikia renovations, and contemporary villas in the Attica region.
Projects emphasize natural light optimization, indoor-outdoor integration, and sustainable material choices adapted to the Mediterranean climate.
Your responsibilities
Lead residential projects from concept design through permit documentation and construction supervision. Coordinate with structural engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure design quality and buildability.
Navigate Greek building codes and permit procedures, particularly in areas with archaeological or heritage restrictions. Develop technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation using BIM workflows.
Integrate passive design strategies and energy-efficient systems tailored to Greek climate conditions. Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the design and construction process.
Profile we’re looking for
Licensed architect with minimum 2-3 years of experience in residential and renovation projects. Strong understanding of Greek building regulations, permit processes, and construction practices in Athens.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent command of both Greek and English, spoken and written. Ability to work independently while collaborating with our international team in Madrid and Stockholm.
