WELL-being Consultancy & WELL AP Certification

Well-being Consultancy · WELL AP Certification

The environment you work and live in directly affects how you perform. That is not a claim – it is measurable.

Wolfblanc holds WELL AP certification – the professional credential issued by the International WELL Building Institute. We apply WELL methodology as an active part of our design process, not as a post-design audit. Air quality, daylighting, acoustics, thermal comfort, materials, and movement are addressed at the brief stage and carried through to delivery. Applicable to residential, hospitality, office, and healthcare projects across Spain, Sweden, and Greece.

What We Measure & Optimize

Ten WELL concepts. Applied from the first design decision.

  • Air quality: Ventilation rates, pollutant limits, and material off-gassing controlled at specification stage. Not retrofitted after construction.
  • Daylight & lighting: Circadian-supportive lighting design. Glare control. Views to outside. All modelled and documented, not estimated.
  • Acoustics: Background noise levels, speech privacy, and reverberation addressed in the layout and material selection from day one.
  • Thermal comfort: Temperature, radiant heat, humidity, and air movement designed for the occupant profile – not just code compliance.
  • Materials: Specification of low-toxicity finishes, adhesives, and building products. Relevant for any project where occupant health is a priority – especially healthcare, schools, and long-term rental residential.
Our Approach

Evidence-Based Design. Built In, Not Bolted On.

Most studios treat wellbeing as a finishing layer – a few plants, some biophilic textures, a nod to natural light. We treat it as a technical discipline embedded in the design process from the brief. WELL AP certification means we have passed the International WELL Building Institute’s professional examination and maintain continuing education in the standard. We apply this to hospitality projects where guest experience and ADR are directly tied to how people feel in the space, offices where productivity and retention depend on the working environment, and residential projects where long-term occupant health is the client’s primary concern.

Why WELL AP Matters for Your Project

  • Hospitality: Guest wellbeing directly correlates with review scores, repeat bookings, and ADR. A space that controls noise, light, and air quality outperforms one that doesn’t – on the metrics that matter.
  • Offices: Staff retention, absence rates, and focus are measurably affected by the physical environment. WELL-informed design is increasingly a factor in how companies attract and keep talent.
  • Residential: For long-term occupancy or premium rental, air quality, acoustic separation, and thermal comfort are the difference between a property that commands its asking price and one that doesn’t.
  • Healthcare: Clinical environments where light, noise, and air quality have direct clinical implications. WELL AP methodology applied alongside functional design requirements from the start.
