Architect Stockholm, Luxury Residential and Archipelago Architecture

Your Residential Project or Archipelago Home in Stockholm: Nordic Design, Precise Execution

Wolfblanc has an office in Stockholm on Kungsgatan and a completed project here: K12 in the inner city. The Stockholm market has recovered firmly after the 2023 correction, with Ostermalm apartments reaching 100,000 SEK per sqm and prime properties on Strandvagen reaching 112,000 SEK per sqm. The archipelago is a distinct market of its own, where island homes trade from 5 million to well above 30 million SEK depending on location, water access, and condition. This is not a market we enter as an outside firm. We have Swedish-speaking staff, local contractor relationships, and direct knowledge of how Swedish planning and building regulations work.

What We Offer

Architecture and Project Management in Stockholm and the Archipelago

  • Luxury Apartment Renovations: Full architectural renovation of apartments across Stockholm’s prime inner-city districts. Well-executed projects in Ostermalm and Vasastan close above asking, often within two weeks. K12 is our completed Stockholm project.
  • Archipelago Houses and Summer Villas: New builds, renovations, and extensions for island homes across the Stockholm Archipelago. From traditional wooden villas on Varmdo and Vaxholm to contemporary waterfront houses on the outer islands.
  • New Residential Development: Architecture for new builds and extensions, including energy-efficient design that complies with Sweden’s building regulations and the BRF (bostadsrattsforening) market expectations.
  • Project Monitoring: Owner’s Representative service. Visual updates, cost reports, and clear communication in English, Spanish, Swedish or Greek throughout every phase. See Here
  • Interior Design and Fit-Out: High-spec Scandinavian interiors that meet the quality expectations of the Stockholm market, where buyers and tenants have among the most discerning tastes in Europe for material quality, spatial logic, and functional design.
  • Heritage Renovations: Stockholm’s protected building stock requires careful handling under Swedish cultural heritage law. We have experience with listed facades, period interiors, and the energy retrofit requirements that apply to pre-2000 buildings.

Our Approach

Nordic by Origin, International in Practice

Stockholm is a market shaped by Scandinavian precision. Ostermalm and Djurgarden set the premium price ceiling at 90,000 to 113,000 SEK per sqm, attracting established Swedish families, international executives, and buyers from across Northern Europe. Vasastan and Sodermalm serve the younger professional buyer at 80,000 to 100,000 SEK per sqm. The archipelago is entirely separate: island houses are long-held assets, rarely traded, often requiring careful renovation that respects both Swedish building tradition and protected natural environments. New builds on the islands are subject to strandskydd (shore protection law), which limits construction near water and requires specialist planning navigation. Wolfblanc understands both markets because we are from here as much as we are from Madrid.

Why Wolfblanc

  • Office in Stockholm: Wolfblanc has a Stockholm office at Kungsgatan 9 and Swedish-speaking staff.
  • Cross-Market Clients: Many of our clients work with us in both Stockholm and Spain. A Swedish family buying a second home in Madrid, Barcelona, Marbella or Mallorca, or a Spanish investor renovating in Ostermalm.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Swedish building law, strandskydd on the islands, BRF compliance, energy retrofit requirements for older stock. We know the specific constraints that determine what is buildable before the first sketch is drawn.
