This urban regeneration project reimagines a block in Madrid’s Lavapiés neighborhood through micro-urbanism strategies. It introduces a public green garden with an open-air auditorium and flexible indoor spaces, creating a cultural and ecological hub. Innovative residential units “hang” from existing perimeter walls, preserving historic streetscapes while activating the interior with natural light and customizable glass facades. The design fosters community connection, sustainable living, and a renewed identity in this dense, culturally rich neighborhood.
