The site, characterized by a steep, north-facing slope descending toward the water, offers both unique opportunities and challenges. The design, featuring a cluster of slender tower-like buildings, maximizes natural light, views, and openness between structures. Together with Wallins’ and Folkhem’s adjacent developments, the buildings form a cohesive ensemble of rectilinear forms integrated into the sloping terrain.

Einar Mattsson’s three buildings are composed of bold, heavy concrete volumes, punctuated by large openings and intricate relief details in both small and large scales. The floor plan is organized around a rotational symmetry, ensuring consistent quality and functionality in every apartment. A compact core houses wet areas and secondary spaces, while open and light-filled living areas surround it.

Corner living rooms flow into recessed balconies, which offer excellent protection from traffic noise. These balconies create a distinctive, fringed façade profile, subtly revealing the rotational geometry of the plan in the overall volume. Residents enjoy the ability to step outside the building envelope for unobstructed corner views, enhancing their connection to the natural surroundings.
