Located north of Stockholm, Barkarby City 3:4 and 3:5 are part of a major urban development in Järfälla. The district features excellent public transport connections, recreational parks, commercial spaces, and essential services.

The project includes two urban blocks with low and high-rise volumes, creating a distinctive silhouette. Each structure has a unique identity, standing on its own plinth with a clear street-facing address. The lower volumes include compact studios with private loggias and a variety of apartments in L-shaped buildings, all clad in textured wooden paneling.

The towers, designed as “siblings,” share similar materials and details but differ in shape and composition, with contrasting colors for windows, balconies, and façades. A high plinth houses commercial spaces, residential entrances, and two-story apartments, while the basement includes parking, storage, and technical facilities.

At the core of the block, a green courtyard offers space for relaxation, play, and stormwater management, with an open passage for drainage and easy access to the street. Rooftops provide sunny terraces and feature sedum and solar panels, enhancing sustainability and energy efficiency.
